Invitation Design
Caroline and Ian’s wedding stationery is inspired by timeless chinoiserie wallpapers by the likes of De Gournay. We custom painted a watercolor piece that is full of allegorical details about the couple and is featured on the back of their invitation card as well as their envelope liner. The dark and moody blues and greens call to mind an autumnal NYC fête. Navy letterpress, a copper foil edge and a vellum overlay with white ink pulls this gorgeous suite together and is finished with a copper twine and wax seal with the couple’s custom monogram. Their adorable pup, Bowie makes a special appearance and delights all their guests upon first sight.
The couple’s custom watercolor monogram is featured not only on their stationery, but day-of-items as well.
